Most people don’t listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply.

Steven Covey

Hi. I’m Charles.

And I love to have fun.

My story begins with an idea. I wanted to launch a business to help leaders grow and build differently.

After serving companies in a variety of roles in the creative and tech world (Brand Strategist, Creative Director, Community Manager, Managing Director, and then partner of a 70+ person advertising firm), I was exhausted: mentally, spiritually, and physically.

During a conversation with my dad, I brainstormed different ways to try to find my path to renewal. Breathless after grasping at yoga retreats in Bali, spiritual transformations in South America, Vipassana sits in India, and pretty much anywhere my motorcycle could take me, my dad finally said something that brought everything into perspective:

Charles, I don’t think you need to recharge. I think you need to reinvent yourself.

With that, I knew what I had to do and after a transformative 4-day workshop with the coaches at Reboot, and the support from my very loving partner Kate, I began my journey.

It turns out that reinventing myself was harder than I thought. I did nearly everything possible to fill my newly available schedule with trips, activities, and adventures to make me whole again. It felt like gorging myself on a buffet of experience to make up for the starvation of purpose and meaning I felt in the old ways I was doing things.

After nearly two years, having done almost everything possible EXCEPT committing to my purpose of helping others design their lives, I finally decided it was time to “get serious about my play.”

And thus I arrived at the new direction I wanted in my life: to help others figure out what they’re best designed for and to help them bring more creativity, connection, and value to their lives, both through work and personal connection.

If you’ve made it this far and are looking for help with this, let’s talk.
